Dr. Kasey Hill: Physical and Sports Medicine
At Moreau Physical Therapy, we are proud to have Dr. Kasey Hill, a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation trained physician on staff. Dr. Hill strongly believes in an interdisciplinary team approach in caring for his patients. Our collaborative system with physical medicine and therapy interventions allow for more detailed patient care and better outcomes.
About Dr. Hill
– Board Certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician, or physiatrist
– Undergraduate degree at Louisiana State University
– Medical degree at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans
Dr. Hill did his residency at the University of Virginia, where he received specialized training in treating running injuries by working with Dr. Robert Wilder, director of The Runner’s Clinic and author of The Textbook of Running Medicine. He also had the unique opportunity to gain insights about biomechanics and individualized rehabilitation programs while working with Jay Dicharry, PT, gait analysis expert and author of Anatomy for Runners.
After residency, Dr. Hill worked three years at North Alabama Bone & Joint Clinic in Florence, AL, where he treated runners of all skill levels, volunteered at races, and presented to the local running clubs. While he has a strong passion for working with runners, he also enjoys diagnosing and treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal & sports injuries, such as stress fractures, myofascial pain, tendinitis, sprains, and strains. If needed to help determine the most accurate diagnosis, Dr. Hill can perform nerve conduction studies and electromyography (EMG).
