How to Prepare for Your Appointment
Wear Comfortable Clothing
- Choose loose, comfortable clothes based on the area being treated:
- For knee issues: shorts or pants that roll up easily
- For shoulder issues: a tank top or loose t-shirt
What to Bring
- Please bring the following to your first visit:
- Health insurance card and ID
- List of medications
- Any questions you have for your therapist
- A doctor’s referral (if you have one)
- Any relevant imaging results or doctor’s notes
What Happens During Your First Visit
Initial Evaluation
- You’ll meet with one of our expert therapists for a comprehensive assessment, including:
- A review of your medical history and current issue
- Discussion of your pain level, triggers, and how it affects your daily life
- A physical evaluation of the problem area
- Setting personal goals for your therapy journey
Personalized Treatment Plan
- After the evaluation, your therapist will:
- Recommend a customized treatment plan
- Set specific goals for your recovery
- Let you know how often you'll need to visit the clinic
- Review insurance coverage and payment options with you
Does Therapy Hurt?
- Therapy should not be painful, but some discomfort or soreness is normal as you work toward recovery.
